Songs in the Snug

Saracen's Head
Warburton

We usually meet on the second and fourth Wednesdays of every month, around 9:00pm. If in doubt, check here before you set off to save a possible wasted trip in a 'five Wednesday month'!!

Our preference is for predominantly unaccompanied, tradition or traditional-style folk songs and verse, though we often start the session by playing a few tunes on assorted instruments. It's a friendly environment - we keep stopping for chats (sometimes mid-song!). We take our music seriously, but we aren't 'intense'!

We found ourselves temporarily homeless when our usual venue closed in July 2007, pending the appointment of a new tenant. Fortunately, Coard and his staff made us very welcome at the Saracen's Head at Warburton, and we are now enjoying the hospitality (and beer quality!) of our new home!

Here is our proposed 'timetable' for the next few months:
2008
December 10th
Christmas Party
December 24th
No Meeting - see you next year!
2009
January 14thJanuary 28th
