Tonight's line-up is a little different from last time - we hope you'll be glad to hear that tonight will feature Tony Gibbons, John Murphy, Liam Murphy and Steve Higham - three of the original members of Garva plus a son of Garva (Liam Murphy)!! It's also possible there may be another musician, yet to be confirmed. STOP PRESS!! The other musician is now confirmed as none other than Kevin Webster - so that brings the ex-Garva count up to four! So... you can bet it will be a storming evening at Lymm Tennis Club - be sure you have a ticket!! Better turn up early if you want a good seat! Maybe come a few days early, and bring a sleeping bag! Unfortunately Chris of Isambarde had been taken ill with a virus, and they were forced to cancel some gigs. We hope to rearrange their booking for another date. We ran a 'Residents Night' instead, opening with Nick and Lyn. Stewart took the second spot up to the break, which was followed by Half-Nelson Peach (Richard and Lesley!]. Our Bernard did the final spot, bringing all the residents to the 'stage' for a rousing version of 'Will Ye Go, Lassie, Go!' to finish the night.

Kit Hawes is a young acoustic guitar virtuoso and singer-songwriter. Since the age of 15 he has been playing at venues allover the UK and in Europe. While studying at the Bristol Institute of Modern Music with Stuart Ryan, Kit headlined at the BIMM showcase and reached the finals of several nation guitar competitions, including runner up at the Takamine Young Acoustic Guitarist of the Year award. His influences include Django Reindhardt, Antonio Forcione, Richard Thompson, J.S Bach, Tommy Emmanuel, Joni Mitchell and Miles Davis. See him on MySpace, then come to see him live!
